"FAWNWOOD FARM" Susan M. Recchia, 1988

(Horses L-R:; War Dancer, Chief Black and Blue, Candy, Flame, Windy Bow, Penny, Heathermead Bess, Dixie, Rusty and Skippy, the family collie)

Raised on her parents horse farm "FAWNWOOD" in historical Hyde Park, NY, Ms. Recchia has dedicated her life's work to the visual arts.; Professional since 1973, she has sold to corporate and private collectors throughout the U.S. and in several foreign countries.  Working from miniature to life size and larger, she has created seven ongoing painting collections and several signed and numbered sculpture collections to date.

In 1992, she opened her gallery to showcase the collections by appointment.; The first exhibit was "The Discovery" a 500 year Columbus Commemoration.  The Annual Holiday Exhibitions included "Angels", "Bible" Series and "The Book of Revelation".  By 1998, a highly visible location was established in Milton, NY (one hour north of New York City) and plans for the sculpture garden became reality.  Sculpture fountains and waterfalls are the focus of the outdoor exhibit, while the main house features original frescoes sculpted on the walls and ceilings.

2000 marked the progressive accomplishments with still greater purpose.; The vision for Inspiration Art Museum had been in the planning stages since 1997, and was about to blossom.  In 2002, Ms. Recchia began a preliminary site search for the project, and will continue in 2003 with phase one for the purchase of property.
